NCH’s Urgent Access Clinic is located in the Anderson Building at 57 Prospect Street to offer easy and convenient medical care for non-life-threatening conditions. Walk-ins are welcome or appointments can be made on the Patient Gateway or by calling 508-825-1000. Click to learn more.
Nantucket Cottage Hospital is administering flu shots throughout the Fall. Appointments are required and are available to book on the Patient Gateway or by calling 508-825-1000. NCH recognized several individuals and organizations at its 113th Annual Meeting on Friday, August 23, 2024. Craig Muhlhauser, Chair of the NCH Board of Trustees, welcomed Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Barbara Malone, and Chief Nursing Officer, Aimee Carew-Lyons, PhD, RN, to speak about the medical updates within the hospital and throughout the MGB system. NCH significantly expanded its physical therapy services, after agreeing to transition Manning & Associates Physical Therapy into its rehabilitation services department on July 8. Manning & Associates owner, Joseph Manning, has been in communication with hospital leadership this past year about integrating his practice into the hospital’s current programs. NCH has named Steven Kohler, MD, as our new medical director of Urgent Access. Kohler had previously served as an emergency medicine physician at Cape Cod Hospital since 1996, accumulating more than 125,000 emergency room and urgent care patient encounters. Click to read more.
